“Youth: The Future of Nuclear Power”: UAE will host a Youth Circle on the margins of the International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century

The Emirates Youth Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and the UAE Permanent Mission to the IAEA will host a Youth Circle on the margins of the upcoming International Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Power in the 21st Century



















The UAE Permanent Mission in cooperation with the Emirates Youth Circle will host the "UAE Youth Circle: Building Youth Technical Capabilities in the Nuclear Filed"  during the IAEA International Conference on Technical Cooperation Programme. The Youth Circle will take place on the 31st of May 2017 from 12:30-14:00 at IAEA M02 Lounge in Vienna, and we are looking for young peers in the nuclear field to participate!

In February the IAEA Education and Training Appraisal (EduTA) Mission took place in the UAE under the framework of the Integrated Work Plan (IWP). To consolidate the agency's support provided to the UAE's nuclear power programme in an integrated manner, the UAE concluded the IWP with IAEA in 2013.
The IAEA Director on Division of Nuclear Installation Safety, Mr. Rzentkowski, visited the UAE end of January. His visit included an IAEA Expert Mission to review FANR Transition to Operation Plan and a visit of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant.
In coordination with the UAE Permanent Mission and the IAEA an Interregional Training Course on the Implementation of National Requirements for Nuclear Power Programmes was held in Abu Dhabi.
